Who’s me?

My name is Richard Rickert.
I was born and raised in Germany, learned to be an artist and ran a pottery studio for most of my life.

Combining creativity & family life

By the age of thirty, I moved to Australia and became an Australian citizen. This was very important to me, as I identify with Australia and its generous people much more than I have ever with Germany.
We, that is my former partner Maria and our four children carved a living from the Australian bush, bought a 2000 hectare property after selling what we had achieved in the old country and enjoyed many years of living a free life being creative.
What is now called “The Old Schoolhouse” and available for accommodation, was originally build for our children to spend their school years getting private tutoring and “School of the Air”.

Our Story

Arriving in the bush, the resources available were pretty much restricted to a fibro dwelling, a set of worn out handling yards for cattle and sheep and an old generator. We started farming, then went back to my original trade as a potter and many years later grew into a thriving tourist enterprise.

Considering that for the first 14 years there was no proper road excess, the local council from 30 km away Coonabarabran recognized our potential as young pioneering entrepreneurs and supported the building of an all-weather dirt road.

A Life Of An Artist…

Twenty years down the line I moved back to Germany in pursuit of a career as an artist realizing soon that my art wouldn‘t pay my way as I, the artist, would have better been dead already. According to the principle of supply and demand, a dead artist cannot produce anymore and thus is of greater value.

A Life Of An Artist…

Turning 60 for being late, it dawned on me, that without much of an income once I can’t push much clay anymore, I would be bound for a pretty confined lifestyle, to put it mildly.
But there always was this urge in me to share what I knew in my heart to be true.

A lifetime of meditation, learning, and thought-provoking inspiring literature had secretly sent me on a path of self-realization.
It was on a search for another interesting perspective that I came across two young Australians whose enthusiasm inspired me to follow their trail.

What can I say!? I am more than grateful I did as it led me into the community of the Six Figure Mentors, SFM.

As the name makes a statement about what they are, I was intrigued by the income generating potential first but kept my reservation for I had made my experiences in the field of online marketing earlier thinking it could be another shallow money making scheme.

Only slowly did I become aware of it being a realistic and wholesome approach to turn a world of searching individuals into self-realized successful entrepreneurs with a mindset open to a changing world.

Nothing better could have happened to me……………. ever!!!!!
