Endless weath fields in the Australian South pay witness to a fertile soil.
Let’s talk about God
Religious or not religious!
What we do, from day to day, is following our life, serve its purpose and maintain our position in family and society.
Simultaneously everybody knows there is greater power at work. Even those who deny it realize by themselves, they could neither create it, nor maintain life, even if they wanted to.
Whoever though pays close attention, does notice that the underlying system of life is far too sophisticated to comprehend, and that there obviously is something at work.
Still, most of us except life as something we have no control of and are struggling with the fact that it will have a physical end to it.
The struggle takes shape in the need to calm it down somehow. In most cases we cling to something somebody else said, and adhere to that subconsciously during our day-to-day life.
If the story – and I beg you to admit to this fact – if the story is sophisticated enough to leave a lasting impression, we cling to it, even though it may have happened thousands of years ago.
When such happens, we call it religion.
There are various types of religions around the globe. Most of whom tell an integrate story about one person to have realized divine consciousness and have become present to the creator force.
Around this one person the story evolves.
As we are social beings, we naturally like to share our knowledge and so does the person at the beginning of this very impressive story.
He – till now it has always been a male, probably related to the given fact of male dominance at the given time – accumulated other people around himself to share the great revelations he had. The people closest to him then write the story down and turn it into a book.
On poorer soils natural vegetation is allowed to grow, receiving visitors from the cities to recreate.
We need to imagine a time, when there was no other media than the spoken word. People liked in particular to listen to stories to govern their lives according to their potent insides.
As more and more people gathered around the book and its content, the need arose to protect the book and its content. This also raised an opportunity to take influence on a lot of people who were building their believes around it.
Thus, walls were built to house their gatherings.
As it always needs someone to maintain the walls, a growing number of believers gathered to build an elite, to ultimately preach to the rest and care for rules and regulations.
Once you realize why a story could have such an influence on the crowd, you can also follow the connections it is making to your everyday life.
The understanding that there is something greater than us also creates a respect if not to say fear in us, we carry around trying for a lifestyle that follows the proper rules.
Or we happen to live in a pretended denial that there is no rule to live by other than what serves our personal and family needs.
However you look at it, the result mostly created by the need to integrate a believe into our life, is the thoughtless following of a religious concept.
This behavior is comparable to opening a draw in the cupboard of life, placing our need to integrate a believe into it, and closing it again, knowing, we only have to open it once a week.
The mighty River-Red-Gum never fails to show up where water is sufficient.
What I am getting at here, is the fact that real life is happening moment to moment. The imagined past, which influenced the way we experience ourselves to give us a personality, will never come again, and the imagined future my never arise. The only time of our actual life we have is in the present moment.
And not only is the moment called NOW the only facet of time we have, it is in this very moment that we can relate to the force that is supplying it.
Actually, it is not only supplying it, it is it. You cannot take a breath without it. You cannot make a move without it.
It is manifesting itself into this moment called NOW by generating you. That does not give you the power of the almighty force, but it certainly shows that you are part of it.
Question becomes, of how we relate to this fact? How do we behave knowing that we do have direct contact with the creative force, or better said, that we are a manifestation of that creative force?
Once we come to terms with our lives taking place in this very unique moment of creation, our individual abilities to relate to this force breathing us into this moment come to bear.
All our thoughts, mainly created by an organizing ego, become questionable. Some, mostly few are reliably relating to the task ahead, while most are disturbing us in our relationship to others.
Realizing that the creative force did not just come to one person a few thousand years ago, but is active within our own life, generating our own body into this moment called NOW, provides us with the inside, that there is no other, that we are all the one, and thus have no enemies to fight.
